Members subscriptions allow us to carry out our meetings and research sessions, plus the journal.

How to join

Join direct online

To join online please use the link to Parish Chest (preferred method) or GenFair links on the right hand of this page.

Either option allows you to pay securely by credit card in your local currency.

In Person

You are also welcome to join at most of our meetings using either a pre-printed application form obtainable at the meeting, or the form downloaded from this web site

Please give applications, together with cash or a Sterling cheque drawn on an UK bank for your subscription (at the current rate), to the Membership Secretary.

By Post

Subscription Rates

There is an annual subscription payable on joining and on 1 April annually thereafter.

UK Single Membership £10.00
UK Couple Membership £13.00
Overseas Membership (email pdf journal) £13.00

Please Note: the rates as from 1 April 2025 will be as follows:

UK Single Membership £13.00
UK Couple Membership £15.00

Overseas Membership (email pdf journal) £15.00 – paper journals can be sent if postage paid – please request this from Membership Secretary

Applications for new membership made after 31 December in any year will cover membership until 31 March of the following year, giving up to 15 months membership. 

Membership includes admission to meetings and the Journal.
