PUBLICATIONS

Fenland Family History Society publishes transcriptions of memorial inscriptions (also known as monumental inscriptions MIs) recorded by the Society at churchyards, parochial (civil) cemeteries and inside churches; transcriptions of parish registers; and images of the pages of parish registers recorded by the Society. These are all published on CD-ROM in the universal PDF format (except as shown) with Adobe Acrobat reader included.

Pens and pencils, marked with the name of the Society, are also available, along with back issues of our journal, Ag. Lab. Chronicles. The contents of the journal are summarised on the Our Journal page of this website.

These publications are available for sale at regular meetings of the Society in St Peter’s Church Hall, Wisbech. They may also be purchased on-line through a secure service at www.genfair.co.uk. Click on Suppliers (at top left of screen) then select Fenland Family History Society. Alternatively use the address www.genfair.co.uk/supplier.php?sid=44 Clck here to go to GenFair
For publications of other family history societies, including those listed in the Publications Database on this page, visit www.genfair.co.uk or the Federation of Family History Societies at www.ffhs.org.uk.

On the right of this page there is a searchable database of nearly 1,000 publications that may be of interest to members. This includes information to enable you to order from your high street bookstore or other outlet, such as Amazon. Simply enter a keyword, such as a place name, into the Search box then click Submit Query. Where an item is out of print it is worth searching the internet to locate a second-hand copy.

The Bookstall available at regular meetings of the Society in St Peter’s Church Hall, Wisbech also stocks a selection of local history books; books on all aspects of family history research (for the beginner and expert alike); vouchers to enable full use of the large database at www.FamilyHistoryOnline.net; and a wide range of materials designed especially for the storage, preservation and display of all your documents, certificates, photographs etc., using materials that will not damage your treasures.

A further selection of books is available by post through Fenland Family History Society’s association with The Family History Partnership. This enables members to order from a substantial catalogue (over 80 titles and growing) by post using the order form contained in our journal Ag. Lab. Chronicles. Use of this order form identifies customers as members and ensures that the Society receives a benefit at no additional cost. Full details of each book can be found at www.thefamilyhistorypartnership.com and by using the search facility on this page.
